A TEENAGER has admitted his dangerous driving was to blame for the death of his 17-year-old cousin.
Shane Parker, 19, pleaded guilty at Oxford Crown Court yesterday to causing death by dangerous driving.
His cousin Jessie Smith, 17, of Buckinghamshire, was flung through the windscreen of a Ford Escort driven by Parker when it crashed head-on into a Ford Sierra in Abingdon Road, Drayton, near Abingdon, last October.
She later died at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Parker, of Havant, Hampshire, denied a further charge of aggravated vehicle taking without consent.
Parker's brother Edward, 26, of Judds Close, Witney, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking without consent and driving while disqualified, but did not enter a plea.
The brothers were given conditional bail to reappear in court on September 3.
