  Sir, I am puzzled by the councils's intention to bring forward the payment of council tax by another two weeks. read more

  Sir, We are appalled that the West Oxfordshire District Council has taken upon itself, without proper consultation, to bring forward the date for payment of the council tax. If this was necessary, then the WODC should have surveyed every household for their views. read more

  Sir, In response to the letter last week regarding WODC wishing to bring forward the collection of direct debits to the beginning of the month, I wrote to the council informing them that this new date did not suit my income payments, and wished it to remain the same. read more

  Sir, As one of the two councillors who resigned from the town council a fortnight ago, I am writing to explain the reasons for my doing so. read more

  Sir, I read with disappointment that two Liberal councillors have abandoned their constituents and resigned from the town council. read more

• Trolleys

  Sir, I am writing in the hope that a letter in the Gazette will shame Sainsbury's into collecting their escaped shopping trolleys from around the town - after repeatedly informing them of where the trolleys are and asking them to pick them up has failed. read more
