• Live jazz

  Sir, On Friday evening, we heard some fantastic jazz from a vibrant young band, Alan Beecheys Bright Stars of Jazz, at a new club in Corn Street, Witney. There is a fantastic programme of regular jazz in this club, which is perfect for music and has a good ambience. read more

• Old computers

  Sir, In this modern age, when we are bombarded almost daily in the media by requests to recycle, why is it that West Oxfordshire District Council will not help and support a local scheme that recycles old computers? read more

• My proposal

  Sir, Once again the crime performance figures have been released, and once again a certain confusion is established as to whose figures are right - the police recorded crime, or the Government-recorded British Crime Survey. read more

• Speed limit

  Sir, I absolutely and totally agree with Simon Newitt's comments about me needing police driving training if I habitually drove recklessly and broke the speed limit in and around Witney. read more

• RAF deserves better homes
