Update: Lorry overturns near Bladon

THE A44 was blocked near Bladon today by an overturned lorry.

All traffic was being diverted through Bladon.

All lanes of the southbound carriageway were later reopened but traffic in the area this afternoon was still reported to be very slow.

There is no information on any injuries.

In another crash, two vehicles were involved in a collision on the A40 near Barnard Gate this afternoon.

The road was partially blocked and long tailbacks built up.

In other incidents earlier today, one lane of the A41 southbound before M40 J9 was blocked with queueing traffic due to an accident involving a lorry and a car.

The A43 northbound was also partially blocked due to an accident near Brackley, involving three vehicles.
