  Sir - On reading your article on page 4 of last week's Gazette entitled 'Returning soldiers forced to change on the tarmac', I think we need to ask some serious questions. read more

• Fairtrade benefits all

  Sir - The town council, while agreeing that it is good to buy Fairtrade products and even use them in the council offices, has so far rejected the idea of applying for Witney to have Fairtrade town status, although there is plenty of support for it in the town. read more

• 'We never intended to close farm museum'

  Sir - In direct contradiction to your editorial (January 9), I would like to make it clear that 'newspaper headlines' had absolutely no bearing on our decisions concerning the future of Cogges Manor Farm Museum. read more
