House price rise again

House prices in the county are now at their highest level for almost 18 months, latest figures have revealed.
Statistics produced by the Government’s Land Registry show the average price of a property in the county in April was £238,857, the highest figure since November 2010.
Prices rose by 0.4 per cent on the March level, the third consecutive monthly increase and are 0.7 per cent ahead of the same period last year.
