Sir – I am writing to thank all your readers who have made a donation to the Hearts of Oxford Nurse Appeal and to those who are planning events in the future.

This Appeal aims to raise £125,000 over the next two years to support a new British Heart Foundation genetic nurse post at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

We are looking for a volunteer project manager to work within this appeal, and would welcome contact from anyone who feels that they have the necessary skills to fulfil this role. You would work with other volunteers as part of a team, but also try to develop the appeal throughout the Oxfordshire area.
