WITNEY Music Society launches its new concert season on Friday with a performance by the Vesuvio Wind Quintet.
The quintet, Holly Cook on flute, Ben Marshall on oboe, Victoria Kerby on clarinet, Oli Hickie on French horn and Sinéad Frost on bassoon, won the June Emerson Launchpad Prize 2011-12.
They formed the quintet in 2006 when they were students at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
The concert at the High Street Methodist Church starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced £11, are available in advance from Music Stand in High Street or Greenway Antiques in Corn Street, or on the door.
