CHARLBURY once again plays host to Oxfordshire's biggest free music festival, Riverside, this weekend.
Now in its 19th year, the two-day event takes place at the Mill Field, alongside the River Evenlode.
As usual, the three stages feature the best of local musical talent, playing a variety of styles, including indie folk band The Epstein, from Oxford, and Witney’s The Standard, who are the headline acts on the main stage on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
As usual, there will be a special festival ale on sale in the beer tent, created by Witney’s Wychwood Brewery, and lots of Riverside Rascals activities for children, including music workshops and a nature trail organised by Charlbury’s Little Wild Things outdoor play group.
The event runs from noon to 10pm on Saturday and 11am to 8pm on Sunday.
Mill Field is at the end of Mill Lane, off Dyer’s Hill, near the railway station.
