‘Whispering’ Bob Harris
LEGENDARY radio presenter 'Whispering' Bob Harris will appear at The Theatre in Chipping Norton on Saturday, May 16.
Bob Harris first became known as the face of the 1970s live music TV show The Old Grey Whistle Test and continues to be a household name with his shows on BBC Radio 2’s The Bob Harris Show and Bob Harris Country.
Bob comes to The Theatre in conversation with Ian Wilcox and will tell his story of more than 40 years in broadcasting, from the young, passionate music fan who moved to London determined to make music his life, to being presented with an OBE for his services to music broadcasting.
There will be a book signing after the show.
