DOG owners will be able to pit their pets against each other at a fundraising dog show at the Cotswold Wildlife Park this Saturday.

The event, known as ‘scruffs’, will raise cash for Sport Relief, which helps people living tough lives in the UK and overseas.

The dog show will start at 1.30pm outside the Manor House. It will cost £2 per category to enter, with all money raised going to Sport Relief.

The categories are: best biscuit catcher, waggiest tail, best puppy, best golden oldie, dog the judge would most like to take home, best young handler, best hurdling dog, prettiest bitch and most handsome dog.

Owners can enter their dogs into as many categories as they want, and the winner from each category will go through to the best in show final. Prizes include goodie bags, rosettes, animal adoptions and free entrance to the park. For more details, go to cotswoldwildlifepark.co.uk
