Jess Goyder is coming home

MUSIC lovers are in for a treat on Saturday, with the return to our parts of rising star Jessica Goyder.

The soulful Charlbury singer-songwriter plays a homecoming gig at The Shed, in the town’s Nine Acre Lane, to celebrate the release of her debut EP.

Jessica has been performing for more than a decade, and has graced stages from Latin America and Spain to the Glastonbury Festival. But, while now based in East London, Charlbury remains close to her heart – which is why she choose her hometown as the venue for this eagerly-awaited show.

“I wanted to pay tribute to the place and community,” she says. “Charlbury has a wonderfully musical core, and it’s where things started for me. Many friends there have helped me and I still love to come back.”
