Tailbacks after crashes on A40

Two separate crashes on the A40 caused long tailbacks yesterday.
The A40 eastbound was partially blocked after a two-vehicle crash at Cuckoo Lane, Witney, at about 3.45pm. One man was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both lanes of the A40 were then partially blocked near Witney after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.
