VOLUNTEERS raised money to support people with mental health problems by packing bags and collecting donations.
On Saturday a small group of fundraisers from Oxfordshire Mind lent a hand to shoppers in a Co-op in High Street, Witney. Between them the three volunteers collected donations and held a raffle inside the store to raise money.
Organiser Jill May, 50, from Witney, said: “Community spirit is really alive and thriving in Witney, everybody was fantastic. We had a great day.”
The five volunteers of all ages from across the county raised more than £100 in donations, including £50 raised in the teddy bear tombola.
