Charlbury actor up for a gong

Former Abingdon School student Toby Jones, from Charlbury, has been nominated for a Golden Globe award for best actor.
He has been nominated in the Best Actor – Mini-series or Motion Picture made for TV category, for his role in The Girl.
He is up Kevin Costner, Benedict Cumberbatch, Woody Harrelson and Clive Owen.
The awards take place on Sunday, January 13.
