OXFORD

  • Kieron Mills, 21, of All Saints Court, Didcot, convicted of assault by beating in Didcot on July 23. Given a four-month prison sentence suspended for 24 months. Also told to complete a programme requirement. Told to pay £200 compensation and £600 costs.
  • Richard Capel, 41, of The Moors, Kidlington, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis in Phipps Road, Oxford, on October 21. Community order made and told to do 80 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Told to pay £60 costs and banned from driving for 24 months.
  • Michael Roberts, 33, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Oxford on October 16. Also admitted assault by beating in Oxford on November 8 and using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence in Oxford on October 24. Sent to prison for one month.
  • James Bisson, 24, of Sage Walk, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis in Oxford on October 26. Fined £50, and a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • Dido Krawi, 36, of Pinnocks Way, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis and driving while disqualified in Botley Road, Oxford, on February 12. Also convicted of driving dangerously and without third party insurance on Botley Road, Oxford, on February 12. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Handed a 12-month supervision order and told to do 250 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Told to pay £300 compensation, £775 costs and banned from driving for 12 months.
  • Joe Sutton, 25, of Mongewell, Wallingford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Benson on July 29. Fined £100 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  • Joshua Walker, 23, of Marshall Road, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Park End Street, Oxford, on November 9. Given 12-month conditional discharge. Told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Mark Smith, 35, of Wallingford Bridge, Wallingford, admitted assault in Wallingford on October 3. Handed a four-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Given an activity requirement and restraining order also made. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.
  • Michael Colley, 35, of York Road, Headington, admitted criminal damage worth £400 to an iPhone, assault by beating, and obstructing or resisting a constable in execution of duty in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on November 10. Fined a total of £450, £400 compensation, and a £30 victims’ surcharge.
  • Derek Himpson, 29, of Richard Gray Court, Osney Lane, Oxford, admitted criminal damage worth £174 to a fire alarm activation point belonging to Cafe Coco in Cowley Road, Oxford, on October 19. Also admitted using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Cowley Road, Oxford, on October 19. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, told to pay £207.50 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Astan Lemonius, 27, of Stockleys Road, Headington, admitted possessing a deal of cannabis in Oxford on June 26 and having two wraps of cannabis in Oxford on November 11. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, and £45 costs.
  • Gavin Munro, 38, of Challow Road, Wantage, admitted drink-driving on the A338 in East Hanney on November 11. Had 105 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Community order made and told to do 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Pay £60 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs, and banned from driving for 24 months.
  • Richard Squires, 44, of Headington Road, Oxford, admitted harassment without violence after sending nine emails between October 10 and November 24 in Oxford. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and a restraining order made. Told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Luke Berry, 24, of Mill Road, Abingdon, convicted of two charges of using racially aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, in Culham Road, Abingdon, on June 23. Told to pay a total of £100 compensation and £100 costs. Anti-social behaviour order made for two years banning him from using verbal abuse, threatening, harassing or causing distress to any member of the public or emergency employees in Oxfordshire. Also banned from consuming intoxicating liquor in any public place in Oxfordshire and from entering any licensed premises in the county for two years.

BANBURY

  • Tony Attwood, 31, of Park Rise, Ambrosden, admitted making off without paying for petrol worth £68.75 from Bicester Services, Oxford Road, Bicester on November 16. Also admitted shoplifting wine worth £100.98 from Tesco in Hart Place, Bicester, on October 7. Sent to prison for two weeks as was on a suspended sentence. Total time to serve is 14 weeks.
  • Aaron Timms, 24, of Lidsey Road, Banbury, admitted possession of four £20 deals of cannabis in Summers Close, Adderbury, on October 20. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Andrew Marshall, 27, of Samuelson Court, Banbury, admitted shoplifting a memory foam mattress worth £129.99 from the Poundstrecher Stores in Lockheed Close, Banbury, on September 21. Also stole food worth £146.80 from Farm Foods in Calthorpe Street, Banbury, on November 11. And stole another memory foam mattress worth £189.99 from Poundstrecher in The Calthorpe Centre, Banbury, on November 4. Handed a six-month sentence suspended for 12 months. Community order made with a drug rehabilitation and supervision requirement. Told to pay total of £136.62 compensation for 14 other crimes he asked to be taken into consideration.
  • Richard Bochenek, 51, of Orchard Way, Middle Barton, admitted assault by beating in Great Tew on October 11. Fined £375, £250 compensation, a £37 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Christopher Jones, 29, of Hertford Close, Bicester, convicted of assault by beating in Bicester on November 1. Community order made with a supervision requirement. Told to do 120 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Restraining order also made. Told to pay £100 compensation and £500 costs.
