Plea to parishes

Nearly half of all parishes in Oxfordshire have registered a broadband representative to help boost connectivity.

But Oxfordshire County Council said 188 out of 372 parishes have still not put forward a ‘champion’ to get them up to speed.

It wants to spend more than £13m to improve broadband provision but needs representatives to spark interest in rural areas.

Doesnt suprise me when you think the average age of your normal parish counciller.. Most of them need to get up to speed with what is going on these days rather than being little englanders...
