Nearly half of all parishes in Oxfordshire have registered a broadband representative to help boost connectivity.
But Oxfordshire County Council said 188 out of 372 parishes have still not put forward a ‘champion’ to get them up to speed.
It wants to spend more than £13m to improve broadband provision but needs representatives to spark interest in rural areas.
