COKETHORPE School brought Christmas cheer to needy families in West Oxfordshire with its Christmas Hamper Campaign.
The independent school near Ducklington asked pupils, parents and staff to contribute food to fill the hampers.
Enough donations were received to pack 57 hampers, which were then taken to St Mary’s Church in Witney for distribution to vulnerable people and families suffering hardship during the festive season.
Michelle Bailey-Wells, the parish administrator, said: “We’re extremely grateful to Cokethorpe School for such fantastic support through their campaign. It helps those who we provide support at what can be a difficult time of year.”
Headmaster Damian Ettinger said: “The overwhelming support shown by the families, pupils and staff in contributing to these hampers underlines how important we feel this cause is.”
