A burst water main affected supplies to nearly 50 homes in West Oxfordshire.

Thames Water said the 18-inch main burst in a field off Burford Road, Carterton, at 6.30am on Saturday.

Engineers isolated the leak by 8.30am and supplies to around 44 properties that had suffered either no water or low pressure were restored.
