Cooker on fire

Firefighters were called to deal with a cooker fire at a flat in Witney.

Crews were called to an oven blaze in the second-floor flat at about 10pm on Saturday. The fire at the Corn Bar property was out when they arrived but the flat needed ventilating due to the smoke.

Teams from Witney, Eynsham and Abingdon were sent to deal with the incident.
