WHILE Blenheim Palace is closed to the public during the Woodstock stately home’s winter break, the parkland is still open to visitors.
Vanessa and Steve Neat found floodwater was still covering some of the paths as they enjoyed a walk with their dogs Lucia and Tiri last week.
The palace park is open every day from 9am until 4.45pm, until Friday, February 8.
The palace’s 2013 season begins the following day, featuring a new exhibition entitled Lights, Camera, Action, about the films and TV programmes which have used Blenheim Palace or the parkland as a backdrop. For more details, see blenheimpalace.com
