THREE Oxfordshire waterways are still on flood alert this morning.
The alert means flooding is possible and members of the public should be prepared.
The affected rivers are:
- River Thames in Oxford from Wolvercote to Radley
- River Windrush from Bourton to Newbridge
- River Thames from Buscot Wick to Kings Lock
But a footpath in Witney and part of the towpath in Oxford (from Donnington Bridge Road to Abingdon Road) which were closed due to flooding yesterday have now reopened.
The Met office is forecasting an increased amount of rain at around 9am today and tomorrow, but is otherwise predicting only a 20 per cent chance of showers over the two days - although some of these could be sleet or snow.
