BIDDERS got a bit of panto magic when they snapped up items used in a recent production of Cinderella.

Chipping Norton Theatre auctioned props and costumes from its recent production of the fairytale classic on Sunday.

Lots which went under the hammer incuded a cucumber puppet, a toy dog and Cinderella’s crystal gondola. Showing some of the outfits was Rosie Hitchcox, 13, pictured, who said: “It is a bit early to tell how much we raised.

“But we hope to have made about £1,000 or so.”

Witney MP and Prime Minister David Cameron and TV presenter Amanda Holden were among those who saw the show.
