MEP defects to Tories

South East MEP Marta Andreasen has defected from UKIP to the Conservatives.

The Euro MP was elected to serve Oxfordshire and the rest of the region in 2009.

Neither Ms Andreasen nor anyone at UKIP was available for comment yesterday.

So, comrades, perhaps it can only a matter of time before Oxfordshire's Labour City and County Council politicians also 'come out of the closet' and join Vlad Putin's United Russia party?
