SPELLBOUND is the name of a show coming to the Corn Exchange theatre, Wallingford — and that’s just what you’ll be if you are a winner in our latest Herald competition.

We have two pairs of tickets to be won to see SpellBound, a fabulous mixture of comedy, illusion and song, at the venue next month.

The two-act show features the magical comedy of Tracie Hughes, who has been entertaining and mesmerising audiences at home and abroad for more than 25 years, and the stunning vocals of Jennifer Bentley.

Launching his career at the tender age of 18, Tracie was spotted performing in his first professional engagement in summer season in Devon and invited to appear on the popular and original television talent contest Opportunity Knocks. His success on the show led to more television appearances and a full diary of engagements including theatres, clubs and cruises — and even the honour of entertaining at 11 Downing Street, the home of the Chancellor of the Exchequer. Tracie’s breathtaking illusions and wonderfully timed comic delivery have made him one of the most sought-after stage magicians of his generation.

Acting as the perfect foil to Tracie is singer Jennifer who has been gracing the stage since she was eight and considers her appearance at the Royal Albert Hall alongside legendary performer Sir Cliff Richard as a high point. SpellBound is being staged at the Corn Exchange on Saturday, March 16, at 7.45pm.
