Man accused of 'Heroes' fraud

A man charged with defrauding forces charity Help for Heroes will appear at court in April.

Thomas Richards, of Lowell Place in Witney, faces one count of theft and seven counts of fraud by false representation.

Police allege he collected between £2,000 and £7,000 for the charity but the money did not reach the correct donations account.

The 26-year-old will appear at Oxford Crown Court on April 2. He is on bail.
