NEW play equipment has been installed at Cogges Manor Farm in Witney as it gears up for a grand opening on Saturday.

The attraction has spent £100,000 revamping the site, creating new play areas, nature trails and improving the entrance.

Cogges will reopen to the public for the summer season from 11am with a fair featuring a coconut shy, splat the rat, tombola and more.

Director Colin Shone said: “It is really about bringing Cogges to life.

“It is about putting in place elements that will sustain Cogges into the long term and encourage people to come again and again.

“It is really wonderful to see all of this coming together and I am really excited for Saturday.”

Not all the new facilities will be up and running for the opening, but a zip wire and basket swing in the moat area should be ready in the next few weeks.
