Pupils' helicopter walk boosts air ambulance charity

PUPILS from Cokethorpe Junior School have raised £3,781.84 for the Children’s Air Ambulance.
The money was raised in a sponsored ‘helicopter walk’, which took place around the grounds of the school at Ducklington, near Witney, last month.
Children from reception to year six walked a total of 774.5km in three circuits of the playing field.
Teacher Maureen Marchbank said: “We decided to support the Children’s Air Ambulance after taking a class to see the launch of the charity in November.”
