A GROUP of young dancers from across Oxfordshire has been chosen to take part in an adaption of Swan Lake.
The group of 17 was chosen by the English Youth Ballet from more than 240 hopefuls.
They will appear in three performances of Tchaikovsky’s ballet at Oxford’s New Theatre from Friday, September 20.
Eight-year-old Annabelle Lane, from Chalgrove, said: “I really enjoy ballet and I'm looking forward to taking part in Swan Lake.”
The young cast has already begun working with the EYB’s principal dancers at The Oxford Academy in a 10-day intensive rehearsal process.
