OXFORD

David Taheri, 54, of no fixed address, convicted of harassment after sending rude and threatening emails, calls and texts in Kidlington between November 7 and February 25. Sent to prison for 28 days. Two restraining orders also made.

Jordan Anderson, 24, of Jackson Road, Cutteslowe, Oxford, convicted of assault by beating in Pound Way, Cowley, Oxford, on June 21. Jailed for six months and restraining order made.

Benjamin Boswell, 27, of Ock Street, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating in Ock Street, Abingdon, on July 25. Given a 12-month conditional discharge. Told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Nicholas Brain, 22, of Cherry Close, Greater Leys, Oxford, admitted criminal damage after damaging a door belonging to Oxford City Council in Oxford on February 2. Also admitted possession of cannabis at St Aldates police station, Oxford, on August 14. Given a six-month conditional discharge for the criminal damage and fined £40 for the drugs charge. Told to pay £20 compensation and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Damon Hazell, 41, of Station Road, Cholsey, admitted assault by beating in Medlicott Drive, Abingdon, on July 6. Community order made with a four-week curfew requirement. Restraining order also made and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Keiron Hogg, 23, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted dishonestly receiving stolen goods in Oxford Road, Kidlington, on June 5 after receiving a £3,000 Suzuki motorbike. Admitted riding the bike without a licence or insurance. Given eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Also fined £110, told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs. Given six penalty points on his driving licence.

Graeme Faulkner, 39, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a bottle of vodka and a bottle of orange juice, worth £15.57, from Co-op in Oxford on July 26. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £40 costs and a victims’ surcharge of £15.

Liam Shorter, 27, of Caldecott Chase, Abingdon, admitted causing criminal damage to a car window in Wilcote Road, Barton, Oxford, on July 27. Fined £300 and told to pay compensation of £75, a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Jason Browne, 47, of Champion Way, Oxford, admitted stealing £40.63 worth of meat from Cowley Co-op stores on July 23. Fined £200 and ordered to pay victims’ surcharge of £20.

Jordan Bye, 20, of High Street, Kidlington, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Queen Street, Oxford, on July 28. Fined £200 and ordered to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and £85 costs.

Adil Chilton, 22, of Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Rose Hill on April 15. Fined £73 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and £85 costs.

Brenda Curtis, 49, of Dunsomer Hill, North Moreton, near Didcot, admitted being the owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control in a public place and which injured a person in North Moreton on February 2. Fined £1,000, told to pay £85 costs and told that unless the Border terrier, named Reilly, is kept on a lead in public it must be destroyed.

Billy Lawler, 22, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Abingdon High Street on July 28. Fined £200, ordered to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Jason Peacock, 29, of Craven Way, Didcot, admitted drink-driving on Mereland Road, Didcot on July 28. Had 67 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given an 18-month driving ban, fined £110 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and £85 costs.

BANBURY

Natasha Capell, 24, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted failing to surrender to Banbury magistrates on August 9. Granted bail after pleading not guilty to causing bodily harm with intent on February 15. Given a three-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Gary Horn, 29, of Windrush, Banbury, admitted assault by beating in Banbury on July 2. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Harshad Rao, 32, of Alma Road, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Concord Avenue, Banbury, on July 25. Had 127 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath (legal limit 35 micrograms). Jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months with a 12-week curfew requirement. 30-month driving ban, £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Clifton Rhodes, 31, of Evans Lane, Kidlington, admitted producing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Evans Lane, Kidlington on July 26. Given 12-month conditional discharge, £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Daniel Ryan, 26, of no fixed address, admitted stealing alcohol worth £63.19 from Sainsbury’s in Kidlington on August 8. Given a 12-month conditional discharge. £34 compensation order, £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Matthew Street, 23, of Colegrave Road, Bloxham, convicted of two counts of assault by beating in The Lane, Fritwell, near Bicester on February 17 against two victims. Fined £500 and told to pay a £25 victims’ surcharge and £375 costs.

Stephanie Blake, 35, of East End, near North Leigh, admitted stealing beauty products from Junction, in Corn Street, Witney, on September 29 and tea worth £5 from Millets Farm in Kingston Road, Frilford, near Abingdon, on October 4. Also guilty of stealing cosmetics worth £99 from Junction on October 4. Given 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £100 costs and £15 victims’ surcharge.

Shane Hobson, 46, of Blay Close, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted exceeding 30mph speed limit in his car in Watlington Road, Oxford on January 26. Fined £300 and told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given six points on driving licence.
