ABANDONED kittens less than a week old have been found in a skip at Minster Lovell, near Witney.

The kitties are now being hand-reared round the clock at Blue Cross animal rehoming centre in Burford. They were found dumped in a skip in Brize Norton Road last month by workers.

Animal welfare supervisor Hannah Wiltshire said: “The kittens were freezing cold and covered in dust.

“They are far too young to be separated from their mum so we have been hand-rearing them around the clock. Sadly one kitten was too weak to survive but Luigi, Mario, Yoshi and Koopa are doing well. They will be found homes at nine weeks.
