Joseph Bull, 23, of Stonesfield, Witney, admitted stealing cosmetics products worth £25.13 from Boots chemist, in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on September 25. Given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Ian Davies, 49, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Debenhams, on Magdalen Street, Oxford, on October 9. Also admitted stealing a bottle of wine worth £9.99 from St Aldates Tesco on October 10. Fined a total of £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Anthony Joyce, 26, of Redbridge Hollow, Old Abingdon Road, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely New Inn Hall Street, Oxford, on September 29. Given an eight-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Terrance Kerrigan, 49, of Oxford Homeless Pathways, Oxford, admitted stealing a bottle of Tudor Rose wine worth £4.65 from Tesco, in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on July 15. Also admitted obstructing Police Constable Emam in the execution of his duty on the same date. Sent to prison for 14 weeks.

Marina Harries, 45, of Brome Place, Headington, admitted stealing various food items worth £18.07 from Cowley Road Tesco on October 11. Fined £60 and ordered to pay £20 victims’ surcharge.

Melissa Baker, 20, of Bath Street, Abingdon, admitted driving without due care and attention on the A338 at Grove on April 21. Fined £60 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with four points.

Richard Brown, 46, of Walton Street, Oxford, was convicted of stealing glasses worth £230. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £230 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £75 costs.

BANBURY

Farhad Amini, 24, of Bullingdon Prison, Arncott, near Bicester, admitted assaulting prison officer Christopher Stretch in the execution of his duty on May 13. Had his prison sentence extended by six weeks.

Barney Bloom, 33, of Rotary Way, Banbury, admitted stealing two packs of Chinese marinated pork loins from the Co-op, in Banbury, on June 18. Also admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend Banbury Probation Office on July 29. Fined £35 and told to pay £8 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £45 costs.

Danny Brennan, 28, of no fixed address, admitted possessing 19.53 milligrams of cocaine, a class A drug, and 4.82g of cannabis, a class B drug, in Quarry Close, Bloxham, Banbury on April 5. Fined £390 and told to pay a £24 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Tommy Fury, 20, of The Beeches Mobile Home Park, Old London Road, near Chipping Norton, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress at the Co-op, in Enstone Road, Charlbury, on October 13. Fined £35 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Andrew Guy, 37, of Cote Road, Aston, near Bampton, admitted harassment without violence between February 11 and October 7 in Waterford Road, Witney, by sending his victim numerous text messages and leaving his car across her driveway. Fined £300 and told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Paul Hughes, 35, of Quarry Close, Bloxham, near Banbury, admitted possessing 15.4g of cannabis, a class B drug, in Quarry Close, Bloxham, on April 5. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Violet Sayer-Hickson, 85, of Finchdale Close, Carterton, admitted driving without due care and attention in Carterton on June 11. Fined £65 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £45 costs. Given four points on her driving licence.

Carl Culliford, 20, of Henry Gepp Close, Adderbury, near Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to a cell door at Banbury Police Station on August 10. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence made by Banbury Magistrates’ Court on June 3 for assaulting a police officer. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Lorraine Hogan, 53, of Daisy Hill, Bicester, admitted drink-driving in Oxford Road on August 4. Had 84 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 17- month driving ban and told to pay a £300 fine, £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Shannon Price, 24, of Prescott Avenue, Banbury, admitted stealing meat from the Co-op, in Mewburn Road, Banbury, on August 23, August 17 and August 30. Given a three-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months with 12-month supervision requirement and alcohol treatment requirement for nine months. Told to pay £195 compensation and £80 victims’ surcharge.

Jonathan Betts, 28, of Wychwood Close, Carterton, admitted dangerous driving in Chipping Norton on June 14. Given a 20-month driving ban and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Martin Brain, 23, of Forgeway, Banbury, admitted possessing 3.8g of cocaine, a class A drug, with intent to supply in High Street, Banbury, on June 16. Given a four-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months with a 12-month supervision requirement and 200-hour unpaid work requirement. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Letitia Mason, 23, of Cotswold Crescent, Chipping Norton, admitted driving without due care and attention in Chipping Norton on April 4. Fined £165 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £385 costs. Given four points on driving licence.
