AN ACCIDENT caused major delays on roads around Witney yesterday morning.
The red Vauxhall Corsa came off the A4095 near Osney Hill Farm, between Witney and North Leigh, and went into a ditch.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene at around 8.50am and the male driver was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital.
His injuries were not thought to be serious.
Queues built up on the A40 after a section of the A4095 was closed while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
