OXFORDSHIRE'S air ambulance is back in action after being suspended from flying for two days.
The Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust announced their EC135 aircraft was ready to respond to emergency callouts again from 7.30pm yesterday.
The EC135 is the same model which recently crashed in Glasgow killing 10 people.
Bond Air Services stopped flights on Thursday after a problem with the fuel gauge on one of their aircraft. After a technical investigation of their fleet of EC135s, which includes the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance, the problem was fixed.
Mark McGeown, Chief Executive of the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance, said: "We fully believe that the safety of patients and air ambulance staff is the number one priority.
"Obviously we are pleased to be able to resume normal operations."
