MILITARY personnel passing through the passenger terminal at RAF Brize Norton over the past few days have been greeted by a giant 15ft Christmas tree.
For the second year running, Hilltop Garden Centre in Ramsden has donated a Norway spruce to the air station.
Hilltop’s chief executive, Boyd Douglas-Davies, who handded over the tree, said: “As promised we again donated this year’s Christmas tree. This is a very important building at RAF Brize Norton as troops travel through.
“This tree screams Christmas and is beautifully dressed, adding to the festive cheer, which I’m sure troops appreciate.”
Corporal Natalie Gilmartin, who organised the delivery and decoration of the tree, said: “I’m delighted that Hilltop has donated the Christmas tree for the air terminal. At 15ft it’s certainly something that can’t be missed.”
