Steve Hayward
DISTRICT councillor Steve Hayward has resigned his West Oxfordshire seat, it has been reported.
Mr Hayward lives in Thailand but still represents Ducklington on West Oxfordshire District Council and claims his councillor allowance.
The former Mayor of Witney is reported to have resigned but a spokesman for the district council said no official resignation has been received.
The resignation came after today's Oxford Mail story that Mr Hayward was collecting his allowance of more than £4,000 a year.
