Teenager charged following alleged New Year's Day assault
An 18-year-old has been charged by police after a man suffered cuts to his face in a New Year’s Day assault.
James Watt, of Cotswold Crescent, Chipping Norton, has been charged with assault, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage after the incident in West Street, Banbury.
He was released on bail to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on March 5.
