Planning is a lottery. David Cameron would get planning but vif someone else wanted to that would be different.

He only pretends to live here when there is an election looming, his main home is in Notting Hill, London. Why can we not have an MP(any party will do) who actually comes from this area and has genuinely lived and worked here for all or most of his/her life and who has previously served on the local council or on a few local committees so they have a real understanding and genuine interest and really cares for this area..........OH i forgot... this kind of person does not exist round here.

Sorry Duncan, My apologies to you, but i suspect you get my "drift" and that is we only seem to get candidates (selected by all three main parties) for general elections that do not actually know or live in this area. I will only ever vote for someone to become our MP who actually comes from and genuinley lives in works in and cares about this area, and does NOT really live in London or elsewhere, and who has served on local councils etc, someone a bit like yourself,so come on ditch your party and go for it
what you got to lose. Or wont your party let you stand because your too honest and tell the truth.
