FIVE men charged after a national police operation seized an estimated £5m worth of heroin and cocaine have appeared in court.

Five kilos of heroin were seized at a Woodstock property on March 10 this year along with 3kg of cocaine and 1kg of heroin at an address in Oxford.

A further 13kg of cocaine and 2kg of heroin were seized on the M40 near High Wycombe and in Dover.

Five men appeared in Oxford Crown Court yesterday charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine and an offence connected with drug trafficking.

They are Martin Gray, 31, of Southfield Road, Oxford; Yemi Aiyegbusi, 35, of Lisgar Terrace, London; David Bowen, 42, of Lambourne Close, London; Shorne Ross, 42, of Mumford Drive, Rothersthorpe, and Dutch national Razaki Hakan, 41.

They were remanded in custody to appear again on May 28.
