ONE in 20 deaths in Oxfordshire has been linked to air pollution, according to new Government figures.
Public Health England released statistics yesterday showing that 276 people died of air pollution in 2010.
This accounted for 5.6 per cent of the number of deaths that year.
Across the UK it is estimated about 25,000 people died of air pollution.
