A care home nurse has been cautioned after threatening to cut the daughter of a quadriplegic patient “into little pieces”.

Greta Muvuti, who worked at Merryfield House Nursing Home, in New Yatt Road, Witney, had denied making the threats during the incident on November 10, 2010, but the Nursing and Midwifery Council panel last week found most of the allegations proved.

It concluded her fitness to practise was impaired by reason of her misconduct.

And yesterday panel chair Jane Kivlin, imposing the caution order for two years, said it was an isolated incident in a nursing career spanning more than 30 years.
