MASON Morgan enjoyed taking to the air on an giant inflatable slide at this year’s Carterton May Day Fair.
The annual fair, which took place at the Alvescot Road recreation ground on Bank Holiday Monday, raised money for Save the Children.
Graham Evans, the vice-chairman of the charity’s Carterton & Witney branch, said: “It went very well. We were very lucky with the weather.
“We’re not quite sure yet how much money we raised, but it’s going to be about £3,500.
“This is the 35th time we’ve held the fair. We usually range between £2,500 and £5,000, so this year saw a really good average.”
Children were also able to try go-kart racing and fairground games, and there were stalls, a car boot sale and a dog show raising money for the Medical Detection Dogs charity.
