TV presenter Jesse McClure from the US show Storage Hunters had his first taste of Oxfordshire beer yesterday .
He joined his wife Ashley and guests for a tasting session at Witney’s Wychwood Brewery.
And marketing manager Chris Keating was thrilled with the tasting session.
He said: “We never know what to expect when you meet a celebrity “He was fairly outgoing and really interested in the beer.”
Mr McClure, whose show is broadcast on Freeview channel Dave in the UK, had a tipple of locally produced Dr Thirsty’s, Hobgoblin, Imperial Red and Black Wych.
The tasting session was arranged over Twitter when the team from the Wychwood Brewery persuaded Mr McClure to have a taste of the local ales on his UK tour.
He said: “It was some of the best beer I’ve had.”
