A woman who was arrested after damaging a protester’s megaphone has been given a fixed penalty notice for criminal damage to property.

She was arrested on Monday after ripping the microphone off a megaphone, meaning the equipment could no longer be used during the demonstration outside Prime Minister David Cameron's constituency office in Witney.

Protesters Bobby Smith and Chris Tompson were protesting in Witney’s High Street against secret courts and to demand more rights for fathers to see their children.

Mr Smith said: “It just shows how some people are completely ignorant to the injustices in family court.”
