MORE than £400,000 was raised by this year’s Blenheim Palace Triathlon on Sunday, organisers have revealed.

The event at the stately home in Woodstock saw thousands of competitors, including Radiohead musician Colin Greenwood, take to the scenic grounds of the estate to raise money for official charity partner Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

It was also the 10th anniversary of the sporting challenge, with a large birthday cake produced to commemorate the milestone.

The triathlon featured two routes. The shorter one was a 400m swim, a 13.2km bike ride and a 3.1km run. And the longer route was made up of a 750m swim, a 19.8km bike ride and a 5.7km run.
