FIREFIGHTERS were called to a lorry fire near Forest Hill today.
Crews received reports at 10.55am of a large vehicle on fire on a cycle path parallel to the A40. Police also attended the scene.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service spent about 55 minutes tackling the blaze, which was out by 11.50am.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Hannah Williams said: “We were called to reports of a blue truck on fire on a cycle path parallel to the A40.
“It appeared the vehicle had come off the road.” After the fire was out recovery vehicles attended at about 12.15pm, she added.
“The incident was then handed over to highways.”
