PRIME Minister David Cameron has this morning repeated his condolences over the death of schoolgril Liberty Baker yesterday as more flowers and tributes were left at the crash site.

Liberty, 14, died after she and three others were hit when a car mounted the kerb in Curbridge Road in Witney yesterday morning.

Mr Cameron, the MP for Witney, said this morning: “I was incredibly saddened to hear of yesterday’s incident which resulted in the death of Liberty Baker.

“I know that the whole of Witney, a very close community, will be mourning the terrible loss of this young girl.

“It is an absolutely tragic case and my heart goes out to Liberty’s family and to the other victims’ families and friends at what is a very difficult time.”

Bouquets of flowers and tributes continued to be left at the crash scene this morning.

A man who broke his hip in the crash remains in hospital this morning. One of Liberty's friends who suffered a head injury was discharged from hospital yesterday, while the third girl was not injured.

An 18-year-old arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving was released on police bail late last night.
