A 48-year-old man was hit by a car reversing in a car park in Witney.

A silver Ford Focus reversed into the pedestrian in the Marriotts Walk multi-storey car park at about 12.10pm on Tuesday, May 27.

The victim suffered soft tissue damage to his left knee.

Police are investigating the incident as an assault.

The 34-year-old driver of the car is assisting police officers with enquiries but Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident.
