DARRELL Bellinger and Diane Moore flew the flag for Oxfordshire with strong showings at the Stroud Half Marathon.

Bellinger (Oxford City) finished second, while Moore (Headington Road Runners) was the third lady home.

Windy conditions made running harder than expected, but Bellinger got his tactics right.

Although only sixth or seventh at halfway, he went through the field to take the runner-up spot in 1hr 10mins 25secs.
